  • How to use

Apply the body cream 1-2 times a day, or more often on particularly dry areas.

  • Don’t layer pro- and postbiotics

Do not use the body cream on the same area, at the same time, as a probiotic serum or oil.

The postbiotic cream contains preservatives that will impact the efficacy of probiotics (live bacteria). Use the products a few hours apart (for example, serum at night and the body cream in the morning.)

Real probiotics are a science

There's a bunch of rumors, recommendations and undocumented experiences within probiotics. We try to elevate the discussion on the area and separate fake from fact, probiotic from none-probiotic

  • Not necessarily.

You may have eread about CFU (colony formin units), which is the indicator of how many active bacteria a product contains. A larger number is not necessarily better. The best dosis is the one which is tested and has proven health benefits.

  • Great questions.

'Probiotic' is often misinterpreted or misused in products that don’t fulfill the definition. Probiotics is still a fairly new area of research and consumer products (in some categories at least), which is why it is sometimes use as a marketing-gimmick. Unfortunately this dilutes the actual science behind real probiotics. There is however stricter regulation on the way, which will hopefully make it easier for you as a consumer to separate probiotics from marketing.

  • Poorly.

People in the industrial world loses microbial diversity in the gut and on the skin due to Western Lifestyle; We live too clean, use antibiotics and eat diet with high fat and refined sugars but low in fiber. The decrease of microbial diversity directly correlates with a rise in a range of skin issues as well as metabolic and immune diseases like allergy, inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD), type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1D), and multiple sclerosis (MS).
